Fall Bouquets of Fruit, Foliage and Florals
Here at Embellished Events, we’re always looking ahead to the upcoming seasons. The start of fall is only a couple months away, which means it’s crunch time in the world of weddings! If you’re tying the knot this fall season, now is the time to be putting those final touches on your floral orders. Most florists will require all changes be made no later than one month prior to your wedding date so that they have plenty of time for ordering.
If you’re still on the fence about what you’ll be holding when you walk down the aisle, consider having something a little unique without it being distracting. With so many colors and textures available in fall, the possibilities are endless. Your bouquet is a work of art so get creative with your floral designer and have fun putting together the perfect compilation of florals, fruits and foliage.
FARMER’S MARKET INSPIRED
These bouquets incorporate seasonal, fresh, edible finds from your local farmer’s market. Choose things that are local to where you live, if possible. Some ideas to consider: figs, pomegranate, artichokes, black cherry, crab apples, mini gourds and pumpkins, cabbage and fresh herbs
FOLIAGE AND BRANCHES
Encapsulate the fall with beauty and warmth created from using maple and oak leaves, twigs such as curly willow or manzanita, hanging spanish moss, cones and acorns.
BEAUTIFUL TEXTURES
Incorporate texture into your bouquet with blooms such as: celosia, billy balls, seeded eucalyptus (my favorite!), protea, hanging amaranths and calla lilies.
